Growing up in the Bahamas, food wasn't just sustenance; it was the joy of life itself. From a young age, the kitchen was our canvas, and the vibrant bounty of the land and sea was our paint! Every dish prepared at THRIFTERS BEYOND THE BAY CATERING is colorful, flavorful, attractive to the eyes and appealing to the taste buds & palate.
A passion for health and happiness on every plate
Our journey took a deeply personal turn when our daughter Anaya was born with Intestinal Lymphangiectasia, a condition requiring a strict low-fat, high-protein diet. What initially felt like a daunting list of "can't haves" ignited a profound creative spark. We transformed restrictions into inspiration, and we became her personal culinary engineers, dedicated to crafting delicious, healthy, and wholesome meals for her which gives her a better quality of life.
Upon moving to Edmonton, Alberta, Canada, we noticed a significant gap in dining options for individuals with Celiac Disease, glucose disorders, gluten-free diets, allergies, and various other special dietary needs, including medical, religious, vegan, and health-conscious preferences. This experience fueled our passion to cater to everyone.

"Whimsical " comes to life through our unique creative cooking style, innovative ingredient incorporation, and stunning plate presentation. "Wholesome fresh food" is realized by prioritizing food quality, nutrition, and taste, always using minimal processed food items.
